HIBBING, Minn. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a non-fatal officer-involved shooting in Hibbing.

It happened just before 1 p.m. Friday when two Hibbing police officers responded to a 911 call of a person with a gun.

When officers arrived, they encountered a man outside a residence who was carrying a gun. Officers opened fire, striking the man.

Sgt. Jeff Ronchetti says nobody died, but two people were taken to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Their names have not been released.
