CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - People would be able to carry concealed guns at government meetings and on campuses of public colleges if the Legislature approves two bills.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2ixbCv0) Rochester Republican Rep. Bo Biteman and about a dozen GOP lawmakers proposed the legislation Friday.

Wyoming does not require a permit to carry a concealed firearm.

The law bars guns from locations like courtrooms and schools.

Previous attempts at expanding the concealed carry law have failed.

Biteman did not respond to requests for comment on Friday.
