EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a collision between a school bus and a passenger bus has left a young boy injured.

The crash occurred Monday morning on Route 18 in East Brunswick.

Authorities say the passenger bus was stopped in the right lane of the highway when it was struck from behind by the school bus, which had 15 children on board. A 4-year-old boy on the school bus suffered a broken leg in the crash, but no other injuries were reported on either bus.

East Brunswick police say the other 14 children aboard the school bus were taken to a hospital as a precaution and to provide parents with a central place to pick them up.

The school bus was headed to an orthodox Yeshiva school in East Brunswick.
