LEBANON, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a driver punched by another driver in a confrontation following their two-vehicle collision on an Interstate 89 exit ramp fell and was struck by a tractor trailer.

Police say both men were standing outside of their vehicles on Tuesday morning. They said 65-year-old Roderic Ricker, of White River Junction, Vermont, fell into the roadway after he was punched, and was struck. He was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was identified as 47-year-old Jeremy Potwin, of South Royalton, Vermont. He has not been charged with a crime.

Police are investigating.
