WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - Waterloo police suspect a murder-suicide in the deaths of two people whose bodies were spotted at George Wyth (wihth) State Park.

Capt. Dave Mohlis (MAY’-lihs) said Tuesday that the body of an 83-year-old woman was found in a car Saturday morning and the body of her 86-year-old husband was found by a lake. Mohlis confirmed their identities: Marilyn and Neil Miller, who lived in Waterloo.

Mohlis says he needs to see an autopsy report before saying who the shooter was. Mohlis says a firearm was recovered at the scene.
