COLUMBUS, Miss. (AP) - Police have arrested an 18-year-old Columbus man, saying he shot into the residence of a murder victim weeks before the victim died.

Columbus Police Capt. Brent Swan tells The Commercial Dispatch (https://bit.ly/2k00yEq ) that Quinton Morris, arrested last week, is accused of shooting into the College Street home of D’Shawn Boyd. Boyd was found shot to death near his burned vehicle on Nov. 28

Police say Morris shot into Boyd’s residence Oct. 14, when the victim wasn’t home.
