BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - Police are investigating what they’re calling an untimely death after a woman was found unresponsive inside her Bristol apartment.

Police say the 43-year-old woman’s live-in boyfriend called police on Wednesday morning and said she was unresponsive. She was declared dead at the scene.

Police are withholding the woman’s name until her family can be notified.

The Bristol Press reports an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning. Investigators could know her cause of death as early as Thursday afternoon.

State police are helping with the investigation.

Further details weren’t immediately released.
