1 dead, 3 injured in shooting at a Phoenix apartment complex

PHOENIX (AP) - Police say one person is dead and three others injured after an early-morning shooting at a Phoenix apartment complex.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired around 5 a.m. Sunday near the Metrocenter Mall.

Police say a man and two women were found wounded at the scene.

All three were taken to the hospital and police say the man was pronounced dead.

His name and age hasn’t been released yet, but police he’s between 20 and 30 years old.

Police say a 17-year-old girl later arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound she suffered at the same scene.

They say the three women have non-life threatening injuries. No names have been released.

Police are searching for two men who fled the scene in a sedan with driver-side damage.
