BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Authorities say two women have been arrested after one of them crashed into a Boise patrol vehicle while a witness sat inside the parked car at the scene of a home invasion.

The Idaho Statesman reports (https://bit.ly/2jM77L2 ) police responded Saturday after a suspect broke into a Boise home. Shots were fired after a confrontation, but it’s still unclear who fired them and police say they haven’t yet located the suspect.

A witness had been filling out a statement in the back of the patrol car when a 21-year-old woman crashed into the vehicle.

The witness and three passengers in the other vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The female driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

A 35-year-old woman was jailed for violating probation after police found evidence of drug use at the scene.
