LAUREL, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was shot and killed in Laurel.

Police say the shooting happened Sunday afternoon in the area of Sunset Drive in Wexford Village.

Police spokesman Master Cpl. Jeffrey Hale says arriving officers found the unidentified teen had been struck by a bullet in the lower torso. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to a hospital, where he later died.

An autopsy will be performed.

Police are still trying to find the suspect in the shooting. No arrests have been made.
