FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in Orange County have arrested a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of setting fires that destroyed five parked cars and damaged several others in Fullerton.

Officers tracked Maria Angel Dejesus Rios, who police described as transient, to a homeless encampment over the weekend.

Fullerton Police Sgt. Jon Radus says Dejesus Rios could face multiple counts of arson.

The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/2kk0Pp0 ) flames ripped through a carport at an apartment complex on Friday.

After the fire was extinguished, authorities found accelerant and determined it appeared to have been set intentionally.

No injuries were reported. In addition to the vehicles, the carport and part of the apartment complex were damaged.
