NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who was shot and killed at a North Charleston gas station over the weekend.

Local media outlets reported that 41-year-old Joseph William Goss of James Island was found dead around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police have charged 55-year-old David Greene of North Charleston with murder and possession of a gun during a violent crime. Police say Greene led detectives to the gun used in the shooting.

Police said there had been an ongoing dispute between the men.

A witness told police Greene had pointed a gun several minutes before the shooting.

It was not known if Greene has an attorney.
