PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A multi-vehicle crash has closed down the highway in New Hampshire near Exit 4 on Interstate-93 southbound.
Snow has started to fall in southern New Hampshire and western Maine, where officials are warning of slippery road conditions. Maine officials reduced the speed limit on the turnpike to 45 miles per hour from the New Hampshire border to Falmouth.
NH1 News reports (https://bit.ly/2jfGsWt ) state police haven’t provided details on the number of cars involved in the crash or if there are any injuries.
The National Weather Service says three to six inches are expected to accumulate in western Maine and southern New Hampshire. A winter weather advisory will be in effect from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday.
