LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police say no threat was found after classes at a Los Angeles high school were canceled when officials received an anonymous and threatening email.

Officials at Notre Dame High in Sherman Oaks released few details about the threat, which was reported about 5 a.m. Monday.

The school said in a statement that classes were canceled as a precaution.

Police launched an investigation and hours later said a search of the campus turned up nothing hazardous and no credible threat was found.

Classes will resume Tuesday morning.
