ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is endorsing former NAACP chairman Ben Jealous in his run for Maryland governor.

Jealous made the announcement Wednesday on Twitter.

Jealous, who is seeking the Democratic nomination for governor, has scheduled an event with Sanders in Silver Spring on Thursday.
