CHARDON, Ohio (AP) - Three people have been hospitalized after an explosion and fire at a home in Ohio.

The Geauga County Sheriff’s Office says the explosion was first reported at a home in Hambden Township around 9 p.m. Thursday.

Multiple fire departments responded, and one adult and two children have been taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Firefighters were able to put out the blaze.

The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
