KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a good Samaritan spotted four children who’d wandered away from their day care in Kearney.

Police were alerted around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, and officers soon found the two 5-year-olds, a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old along a busy street, more than a mile (2 kilometers) away from where they were supposed to be.

Police say the children were unharmed. Court records don’t show whether the day care owner has been charged with a crime.
