NYC police: Man, 53, struck and killed by SUV in Bronx

NEW YORK (AP) - Police in New York City say a 53-year-old man has died after being struck by an SUV while trying to cross a street.

The Daily News reports (https://nydn.us/2uYB293) the man was walking across a busy Bronx street Thursday night when an SUV hit him. The victim died at the scene of the crash.

Police have not charged the driver of the SUV.
