THREE POINTS, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on a fatal police shooting in southern Arizona (all times local):

8:55 a.m.

Authorities say a southern Arizona woman found dead in her residence had called 911 to report that her adult brother had broken in through a window and had a gun.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says the body of 56-year-old Brenda Doucette was found after a deputy fatally shot her brother, 55-year-old Chancy Chamblee, after deputies arrived in response to Doucette’s 911 call.

Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Inglett says authorities are investigating the circumstances of the shooting of Chamblee late Thursday night at Doucette’s residence near Three Points, which is located 25 miles (40.2 kilometers) southwest of Tucson.

Inglett says Doucette was found with signs of trauma.

Pima County authorities say at least one sheriff’s deputy fatally shot a man at a residence where deputies found the man’s adult sister dead from apparent trauma injuries.

Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Inglett says authorities are investigating the circumstances of the shooting late Thursday night of 55-year-old Chancy Chamblee.

Inglett identified the dead woman as 56-year-old Brenda Doucette and said she lived at the residence near Three Points, which is located 25 miles (40.2 kilometers) southwest of Tucson.

Inglett said deputies went to the residence in response to a report of an unknown problem involving a man with a gun.
