SIDNEY, N.Y. (AP) - A 39-year-old upstate New York man has died from injuries suffered in a head-on collision.
State police say Jason Cunningham, of Unadilla, was driving a van early Wednesday on a two-lane country road when he drifted across the center line while trying to negotiate a sharp curve. The van collided with a Ford pickup driven by 35-year-old Matthias Wesner, also of Unadilla.
Cunningham was transported to A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, where he died of injuries suffered in the crash. Results of an autopsy are pending.
Wesner received minor injuries.
The accident occurred about 60 miles (96 kilometers) south of Utica.
