COLORA, Md. (AP) - Fire officials in Maryland say two boats and a trailer were heavily damaged when illegal fireworks sparked a blaze.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says in a news release that the fire broke out late Tuesday on the boats, which were parked on land outside a home. Authorities say it took 10 minutes for 25 firefighters to bring the blaze under control.

Officials say the two boats and trailer sustained about $50,000 in damage. No one was hurt.
