LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - Authorities in Comanche County are searching for an inmate who walked away from the city jail in Lawton.

Officials say Jeremy Marshall escaped from the facility on Wednesday. Marshall was taking out the trash after cleaning up around the police station when he allegedly walked away.

Officials say Marshall was being held in the jail for traffic offenses including a warrant for driving without a license.
