HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) - The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office has determined an Oregon inmate who died last week after being found unresponsive in a cell died of natural causes.
The Oregonian/OregonLive reports (https://bit.ly/2sJLUu0 ) an autopsy showed 58-year-old Dale Thomsen died on June 28 of coronary heart disease.
Washington County Sgt. David Thompson says deputies at the county jail tried to revive the man before he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Thomsen was booked into the jail June 25 on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. The case originated from an arrest in January, in which Thomsen was accused of hitting an empty parked car in Hillsboro and driving away.
