OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - California Highway Patrol officers say the agency tracked a group of more than 30 all-terrain vehicles, dirt bikes and motorcycles over the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge and discovered that they were harassing other drivers.

The East Bay Times reports (https://bayareane.ws/2nK8Se9 ) that the group’s members fled after CHP officers tried to stop them on Sunday evening.

The pilot of the agency’s spotter plane followed the main group of riders and directed CHP officers to a smaller group. When officers surrounded the group, one motorcyclist fled but was later stopped.

The 27-year-old San Leandro woman was arrested for obstructing an officer, evading an officer and aiding or abetting a speed exhibition.

Authorities also seized several off-road vehicles and motorcycles. They say more riders may face charges after they review the plane’s video footage.
