EL RENO, Okla. (AP) - A community college in central Oklahoma canceled classes and all events Friday and Saturday after it received “a potentially significant threat.”

Redlands Community College says the threat is now under investigation by the FBI and the local police department. The school is in El Reno, about 25 miles west of Oklahoma City.

College President Jack Bryant says the campus is closed as a safety precaution because of the anonymous threat.

The school says there will be extra officers at residence halls as well. The campus is set to reopen Monday.
