NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities in New York are investigating an assault on a woman as a possible hate crime.
Police tell WABC-TV (https://7ny.tv/2nl9YvE ) the attack happened in Queens Tuesday morning. Investigators say two men shouted Hispanic slurs at a woman as they drove by in a car. Police say one of the men then shot the woman in the face with a BB gun.
Authorities say the suspects fled the scene. The woman sustained a wound to her cheek.
Authorities have released video of the car the suspects fled in. No arrests have been made. Police say they are investigating the attack as a possible bias crime.
