SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on a child being found (all times local):

10:45 a.m.

Pinal County authorities have located the parents of a young girl who was found alone in San Tan Valley.



The Sheriff’s Office hasn’t released details on circumstances surrounding the incident but said earlier Monday morning that a citizen had found the pajama-clad girl and that the office was attempting to locate the girl’s parents.

Pinal County authorities are trying to identify and locate the parents of a pajama-clad young girl found in San Tan Valley.

The Sheriff’s Office says the girl found Monday morning by a resident appears to be 2-3 years old, has blond hair and blue eyes.

The office says the person found the girl in the vicinity of West Foothills and North Butte drives.
