BOSTON (AP) - Officials say there is no evidence of foul play in the drowning death of a 7-year-old Boston boy last summer.
Kyzr Willis was enrolled in a city-run day camp at the Curley Community Center when he was reported missing last July.
Staff members reported seeing Kyzr leaving the water at a beach.
The Suffolk district attorney’s office says Kyzr re-entered the water without the staff knowing and drowned. Harbor Patrol officers found his body several hours after he had been reported missing.
A tipster said they had seen Kyzr with a man in the waters across from the harbor, but the district attorney’s office determined she had not seen Kyzr.
The office said Thursday there is no evidence anyone “deliberately or recklessly” caused the boy’s death.
