LONGWOOD, Fla. (AP) - A Florida man has been arrested after authorities say they received information that he used electronic devices to download and share child pornography.

The Orlando Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/2q89RZn) that the Seminole County Sheriff Office said in a news release that 33-year-old Giles Geetooah was charged with ten counts of possessing child pornography photos or videos.

Investigators got a tip in April saying someone in Geetooah’s home was sharing child pornography over BitTorrent, a peer-to-peer protocol that allows users to share files.

Authorities haven’t said how they got that information. They searched the home and arrested him the same day.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kim Cannaday says Geetooah was questioned and cooperated with the investigation. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
