BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a man wanted for murder earlier this month north of Seattle was apprehended after fleeing Bellingham on a Greyhound bus.

The Bellingham Herald reports (https://goo.gl/vvhSUf ) that Bellingham police got a tip and determined 39-year-old Alberto Flores Alaniz had left Wednesday on a bus going to Centralia.

Police found Alaniz in a restroom at the bus terminal and arrested him.

Police say Alaniz is a suspect in the May 4 fatal shooting of 36-year-old Miguel Felix just south of Mount Vernon. Police say Alaniz previously lived with Felix and his family.

He’s been booked into Skagit County Jail and is being held on $1 million bail.
