NEW YORK (AP) - There men have been charged in the armed robbery and wounding of a New York Knicks player outside a New York City strip club in 2015.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives teamed with New York Police Department detectives to arrest Johan Antney, Dashawn Tejada and Shaqueel Walker on Tuesday morning. All three were jailed without bail after pleading not guilty in federal court in Brooklyn.

Prosecutors say the robbers pulled the holdup after finding out that pro basketball players were inside the Queens club. The prosecutors say that they cornered then-Knicks forward Cleanthony Early as he tried to leave in an Uber car, then took his jewelry and cell phones before Tejada shot him in the leg.

Early currently plays in the NBA Development League.
