BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A northern Colorado man who was burned in a fire that investigators believe he started has died.

Cmdr. Mike Wagner with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that 42-year-old Kelly Carter died April 26 after being removed from life support.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports https://goo.gl/medHi1 police responding to a domestic disturbance at an apartment in Gunbarrel found the home on fire and Carter critically injured.



Wagner says he is waiting until the investigation is complete to release more information.

Carter has a criminal history in Boulder County that includes first-degree trespassing, obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
