DOVER, Del. (AP) - Police say they’re investigating the death of a 16-month-old boy.

Delaware State Police said in a statement Tuesday that troopers were dispatched to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital early Sunday after parents brought the unresponsive boy to the hospital. Lifesaving measures were taken to revive the child, but police say he died.

The boy’s body was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science to determine the cause and manner of death.
