LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas say a 16-year-old has been arrested in the deadly shooting of a man after a fight on a public transit bus last December.
The teen was being held Tuesday in juvenile custody following his arrest Saturday pending an appearance before a Juvenile Court judge. His name wasn’t made public because of his age.
Police say he was identified as the shooter in the Dec. 15 killing of 20-year-old Jonathan Larkin-Michael Potter following an argument and physical fight involving several males aboard a Regional Transit Commission of Southern Nevada bus in northeast Las Vegas.
Police say that as three males exited the bus, one shot Potter.
Police say they identified two other males with the accused shooter, and they are no longer suspects in the case.
