NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man has admitted his role in the armed robbery of a club nearly two years ago.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Shaheed Blamahsah pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery in a Newark court on Monday.
Officials say Blamahsah, along with two others who were indicted in March, planned the Sept. 6, 2015 robbery at a Passaic club. NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/2rvWWkV ) he also admitted threatening an employee with a gun and making off with more than $26,000 in cash.
Blamahsah could face at least 27 years in prison when he’s sentenced in September.
