CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A second person has been arrested in a shooting death in South Carolina earlier this month.
Local media outlets reported that 19-year-old Demetrius Jamiek Young of North Charleston was arrested earlier this week.
He’s charged in the May 11 death of 28-year-old Derrick Darrell Barber of North Charleston.
Twenty-three-year-old K’Sone Campbell of Charleston was arrested two days after Barber was killed.
Both Young and Campbell are also charged with possession of a gun during a violent crime.
A witness told investigators that a meeting had been arranged before the shooting. Investigators say Barber arrived for the meeting in a car and shots were fired. Two crying children were found in his car when police arrived. They were not hurt.
It was not known if Young has an attorney.
