PEEKSKILL, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a woman is dead and three other people are injured after a driver lost control and pinned them under a parked car in Westchester County.

The Journal News reports (https://bit.ly/2qvfQEd ) that the crash happened at about 5 p.m. Saturday in Peekskill.

Peekskill police say all four victims were rushed to a hospital but a 70-year-old woman died on the way there. Her name was not immediately released.

The newspaper says two other victims are in critical condition.

Witness Tammy Gordineer says the four people were walking up a hill when a speeding Honda crashed into a parked car and crushed them.

Police and the district attorney’s office are investigating.
