PHOENIX (AP) - A woman was fatally stabbed during what appears to be a domestic violence incident in south Phoenix on Sunday.

Police said they responded to reports of a family fight around 11 a.m. at a home near 43rd Avenue and Baseline Road.

Police found a woman who had been stabbed. She died at a nearby hospital.

The suspect in the stabbing was detained.

Police haven’t identified the suspect or victim.
