BENTON, La. (AP) - Northwest Louisiana police accuse a Texas man of forcing prostitution on three young women, including an 18-year-old who is nine months pregnant.

Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington said in a news release Tuesday that all three told investigators that 24-year-old Marketh (mar-KEETH) Bailey of Dallas had brought them from the Dallas area.

Whittington says the pregnant teen was arrested after agreeing to paid sex. She told the undercover officer Bailey had beaten her when she tried to leave. He says the other women, ages 19 and 20, said they stayed because they were afraid of Bailey after seeing the beating.

Whittington says Bailey was arrested for human trafficking, pandering, promoting prostitution, racketeering and money laundering. Bond was set at $50,000. It was unclear whether he has an attorney who could comment.
