GRAND BAY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a Mississippi man led them on a vehicle and foot chase that ended in Grand Bay, Alabama.

News outlets report Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell says the man refused to stop when deputies attempted to pull him over on U.S. 90 on Wednesday. He says deputies chased him through the Grand Bay area until he abandoned the car and ran into the woods.

The South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team and the Mobile County Sheriff’s Departments K-9 unit tracked the man to a nearby house. The address the suspect was found at matched mail and identification in the car. Police say drugs were found in the car.
