QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts woman is facing charges after police say her 6-year-old son was found on the street alone and a 3-year-old son was found alone in a squalid condominium.

The Patriot Ledger (https://bit.ly/2q279oY ) reports that Latoya Brown-Allen, of Quincy, was released on personal recognizance after pleading not guilty Wednesday to reckless endangerment of a child charges.

The brothers were taken into the care of the state Department of Children and Families.

Police responded to a convenience store on Tuesday fter getting a call from a woman who found the older boy walking down the street alone.

After determining where he lived, officers found the younger child in a trash-filled, insect-infested condo nearby.

When police got a hold of Brown-Allen, she told them she left the kids with a baby sitter.
