Boy hurt in fall from Sioux Falls apartment window

SIOUX FALL, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls police say a child was hurt when he fell from a third-story apartment window.

Someone saw the child fall just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday and called 911. Police say the boy suffered broken bones but is expected to survive. He was taken to a hospital.

Investigators say the boy had crawled onto a toy box and pushed on the screen, which gave way.
