New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis claimed his Twitter account was hacked and he used an unconventional method to explain why.
On Sunday, Porzingis took a screenshot of his iPhone to show he would never “even use that smiley emoji” after a tweet was posted to his account on Saturday that said “Los Angeles Clippers” with the use of three smile emojis.
Porzingis’ iPhone showed his most recently used emojis.
I would never tweet something like that. I dont even use that emoji smiley face. Cmon B 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/EXmtej5qzn

Porzingis skipped the Knicks’ exit meetings at the end of the season after Phil Jackson publicly made comments disparaging Carmelo Anthony. Porzingis was reportedly upset about the team’s dysfunction.
In another tweet, Porzingis said his Twitter account was hacked.
I was hacked last night and a post was made from my account. I have alerted twitter and they are looking into the incident.
