GOLDSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Police in North Carolina are trying to determine how a man found in a wrecked car died.

Goldsboro police told local media that officers found a dead man in a wrecked car shortly after shots were fired into the vehicle early Sunday.

A news release says investigators do not yet know of 23-year-old Shiheem Raiford of Goldsboro died from injuries in the wreck or a gunshot wound.

Police said two other injured men from Goldsboro were found outside the car. Timothy Moses had been shot in the knee while Malik Foye suffered minor cuts in the wreck.

They were treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital and released.

No arrests have been made.
