HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) - Officers in western Montana are investigating the murder-suicide of a married couple.

Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton tells the Ravalli Republic (bit.ly/2pUMB0y) that the bodies were discovered at about 10 p.m. Sunday by deputies conducting a welfare check at a residence east of Corvallis.

It has not been determined when the couple died. Their names have not been released.

Holton says the investigation is nearly complete, but they’re still trying to determine a motive.
