NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police have taken a driver into custody after they say he struck and killed another man following an argument about a crash.

WCBS-TV reports two drivers were involved in a crash around 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. Police say both drivers got out of their vehicles and began arguing.

According to police, the 55-year-old van driver returned to his car and struck the 65-year-old man as he drove away from the scene. Police say the man was dragged two blocks before the driver of the van stopped.

The victim was taken to Lutheran Hospital where he died.

Police say it’s not clear if the driver intentionally struck the other man.
