ALBANY, Ga. (AP) - Police continue to seek a man who they say shot an Albany State University student and her boyfriend Saturday night on the school’s campus.

The student, Diamond Kalukango, was shot in the foot and later transferred to an Atlanta hospital. Her boyfriend, Joshua Barnes, was grazed by a bullet and released after treatment in Albany.

WALB-TV reports that Barnes and some friends said they were waiting in a car when a woman asked a group of men passing by what they were looking at. Kalukango says the men cursed, saying to get out of their way. That’s when Barnes told police one of them started shooting.
