WINDSOR, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police have identified a driver who died following a crash on Interstate 91 in the town of Windsor.

Police say the crash happened on Tuesday afternoon when a south-bound vehicle went into the median and hit ledges before traveling back into the roadway. Seventy-year-old Peter Hayward, of Jamaica, Vermont, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

A second vehicle received minor damage, but the driver wasn’t hurt.
