UCLA guard LiAngelo Ball and two other freshmen were released on bail Wednesday after being arrested for allegedly shoplifting in China, ESPN reported.

Ball, who is the son of LaVar Ball and the brother of Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, was arrested Tuesday with teammates Cody Riley and Jaylen Hill for allegedly stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzou.

UCLA’s basketball team arrived in China on Sunday for a series of exhibition games.

Police arrested the three at UCLA’s hotel.

“We are aware of a situation involving UCLA student-athletes in Hangzhou, China,” UCLA said in a statement to ESPN. “The University is cooperating fully with local authorities on this matter, and we have no further comment at this time.”

If convicted, Ball, Riley and Hill could face up to 10 years in jail, Yahoo Sports reported.
