SLAMON CREEK, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a man was killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 5 in southwest Washington.

The Columbian reports ( https://bit.ly/2y6vcXz ) that 43-year-old Seth J. Cusick of Vancouver was driving south in the northbound lanes of the freeway about 8:40 p.m. Monday when his 2011 Ford Escape collided with a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 17-year-old from Woodland in the Salmon Creek area.

Cusick was pronounced dead at the scene. Washington State Patrol spokesman Trooper Will Finn says the teen was critically injured and transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
